Yeah, kind of breaking hiatus, but whatever. XD

As for Ohno's week 20 and new year's update: He spent New Years with Nino and Pearl being sappy and adorable and the norm. ;) Week 20 was spent doing extra filming to make up for his and Nino's trip, which they left for on the 13th. They've been spending a great time in Hawaii and will be back on the 24th just in time for Sho's birthday.

As far as Christmas presents go, here's what they got for everyone (Nino's included):

Gift Nino got for Ohno: Bracelet

Gift Ohno got for Nino: No picture, but he took one of his scales and incased it in resin to put on a chain for Nino to wear.

Joint Gift for Maki: This necklace.

Joint Gift for Meisa: Not exactly sure, but I think it was this one . *Nino!Mun, correct me if I'm wrong?

Joint Gift for Sho: This camera with a lens set and case.

Joint Gift for Aiba: This watch.

Joint Gift for Ryo: These shotglasses.

There were also things for Toma and Anne, but I'm not sure where they went. Will edit!

Ohno spent much of last week working, hanging out with Nino and being generally lovey-dovey with him. He's also spent it dealing with his mother, though sans Nino for most of his encounters. She's still yet to see his apartment and refuses to bring Nino up in conversation, instead keeping it to things about the life he's left behind.

He's pretty certain she's trying to figure out a way to make him go back home, but he doesn't know or when she's going to put a plan into motion. As such, Ohno's been a little on edge the entire week thinking about what his mother is up to.

Occupation: Stage Actor - mostly backdancing and chorus line stuff.
Character History: Ohno Satoshi was born in the warm waters of Okinawa. As a child, Ohno would sit on the beach and watch the locals dance and sing. He'd help the fishermen with their nets and in return they'd give him fish they'd caught. At the age of 18, Ohno had the option to dry out and live on land or to stay in the sea with his family. Ohno chose the land and took up dance. He took a few roles here and there around Tokyo before finally deciding to pack up and move to the land of opportunity - New York City. Ohno has lived there for about five years now, working mostly backdancing and chorus line parts for Broadway shows. Ohno has no desire to be in the spotlight, he just wants to dance.

Ohno to the normal eye is human. He looks, walks, talks and acts human. But without a shirt, his gills are apparent and located on his lower back/sides and if he submerses himself in seawater, his legs disappear and are replaced with a vibrant blue tail. Every once in a while, Ohno takes a swim out with the mermaids of the North Atlantic, but he usually finds it far too cold. Instead, he'll go out on fishing charters for the cost of a song - bringing fish to the boat for the fishermen and himself and earning his trip. Fresh water will not trigger Ohno's true self, so bathing and rain and swimming in pools is all in human form.

RP Sample: Ohno sat in his small studio apartment, flipping through the few channels he got from broadcast. His fishing poles sat in the corner, beside the door, taunting him. It had been a month since he'd been on the water, but there just wasn't time. As it was, his landlord was getting very, very close to evicting him if he didn't somehow come up with his rent check within the next week.

Finding nothing on, Ohno finally sighed and shut off the television. He reached for the daily paper and flipped it open, looking for someone wanting a roommate.
